Let’s face it. It can be a bit uncomfortable to invite someone to church. What are you supposed to say? What do you do? Well, you’ve come to the right place! We have a number of ways for you to invite others to church to help ease the process for you. Before you know it, you’ll be a witnessing machine… boldly going where “no one has gone before!” (Well, actually, others have gone there before, but you get our point.)
Whether you are comfortable with doing a direct person-to-person invite or if you feel a bit awkward and want to invite someone without direct contact, we have helpful ways for you to let others know that if they come to Faith Chapel, they will grow as a person, just like you have.
Download and share these graphics and videos on social media, using the hashtag #faithchapelinvite.
Tell your followers to DM you if they’re interested in attending.

Use these statements when inviting someone in person or through text.
SERMON TOPIC INVITE
“We’ve been teaching on (fill in the blank) this month and it’s really been eye-opening for me. Would you be interested in coming with me next Sunday? I think you would enjoy it!”
OPEN INVITATION
“If you’re ever looking for something to do on Sundays, you can always come to church with me. The invitation is always open!”
INVITE TO AN ACTIVITY AFTERWARDS
“Hey, we’re going to church, then to brunch afterwards. Do you want to join us? I’m down to carpool!”
Pass this invite card out to the people around you.
We have Invite Cards in the lobby. Feel free to grab as many as you’d like to distribute.
IDEAS:
Give a card to a family member who is far from God and let them know you’ll pick them up so they can sit with you.
Leave a few cards at a local business.
Pin a card on the bulletin board in your employee break room (if allowed).
While in the drive-through at Starbucks or your favorite fast food restaurant, let the worker know you’d like to pay for the car behind you. Once you pay for it, give the worker the card and ask them to give the card to recipient in the car. (BONUS: If you do this within a 30-minute drive of the church location, there may be a higher chance of the person coming to check us out.) You can give a card to the worker to keep for themselves as well since they just witnessed a good deed.
After dining at a restaurant, leave a couple of cards on the table after you’ve paid. Take a photo of you leaving the card & post to social media using #faithchapelinvite. (If you’re not a social media person, it’s okay. Leave the card(s) regardless.)
Leave treats (bottled waters, snacks) at your front door for your mailer carrier or UPS/USPS/Fedex driver with a “Help Yourself to Treats” note and an invite card attached to the individual treats.
