SAFETY IS OUR PRIORITY

If you feel more comfortable wearing a mask or face covering, you are more than welcome to still do so, however they are not required. See below for the specifics guidelines in different areas of our church.

ADULT SAFETY MEASURES

  • Face coverings are optional for all attendees.

  • Touch-free Hand Sanitizer Stations are available throughout the building.

  • Social Distancing will be encouraged in seating so that individual households will be distanced.

  • Baby Section seating with social distancing in Main Sanctuary is available. (Birmingham)

  • We ask you to partner with us in limiting the spread of germs by not hugging or shaking hands. Give an elbow or a toe tap to say, "hello."

  • We clean and disinfect after each service all common spaces and high touch areas that are utilized by multiple people.

  • Giving will be electronic and drop boxes will be supplied at all exits; giving buckets will not be passed during service.

  • Golf carts and buses will operate at half capacity and will be cleaned after each run.

  • Guests are asked not to attend if they are experiencing any COVID-19 symptoms, or have been exposed to someone who has tested positive for COVID-19 the previous 5 days.

VOLUNTEER SAFETY MEASURES

  • Face coverings are optional for volunteers (EXCEPT those serving at the Care Center where face coverings remain required).

  • Touch-free Volunteer check-in

  • All volunteer food items and beverages are prepackaged

  • Volunteers will not be allowed to serve if they are feeling ill, are experiencing any COVID-19 symptoms, or have been exposed to someone who has tested positive for COVID-19 in the previous 5 days.

FAITH CHAPEL KIDS SAFETY MEASURES

Preschool (up to K4) and Elementary (K5-5th Grade):

  • Face coverings are optional for all volunteers and children.

  • Touch-free Check-In at all areas.

  • Touch-free hand sanitizing stations are available in all areas.

  • Prepackaged supplies and snacks will be provided.

  • We will clean and disinfect all surfaces and toys during and after each service.

  • Personal toys and snacks temporarily will not be permitted in the classrooms (unless dietary or allergy restrictions apply).

  • Children are asked not to attend if they are feeling ill, are experiencing any COVID-19 symptoms, or have been exposed to someone who has tested positive for COVID-19 in the previous 5 days.

FAITH CHAPEL STUDENTS (MIDDLE & HIGH SCHOOL) SAFETY MEASURES

Middle School (6th-8th Grade) and High School (9th-12th Grade):

  • Face coverings are optional for all volunteers and students.

  • Touch-free Check-in at all areas.

  • Touch-free hand sanitizing stations are available in all areas.

  • We ask that Students/Guardians notify our team of any allergies, etc. at check-in.

  • Pre-packaged supplies will be provided.

  • Students are asked not to attend if they are feeling ill, are experiencing any COVID-19 symptoms, or have been exposed to someone who has tested positive for COVID-19 in the previous 5 days.

ENHANCED CLEANING MEASURES

  • We clean and disinfect communal spaces after each service and event.

  • In kids and student environments, we clean and disinfect activities after each service (i.e., game controllers, balls, equipment).

  • We work with local and state health departments to ensure appropriate cleaning and disinfection protocols and guidelines are followed.

  • Additionally, in Birmingham, we use a portable fogging system capable of disinfecting a room or enclosed area via electrostatic technology focusing on a maintained pathogen-kill zone.
